Centric PLM Alternatives. Pick by the Job, Not the Logo.
Nine Centric PLM alternatives, grouped by the kind of brand each one suits, with when Centric itself is still the right choice.

The best Centric PLM alternative depends on why you are looking. Large fashion and retail groups can compare PTC FlexPLM, WFX and Lectra Kubix Link; growing brands look at Delogue, Onbrand and BeProduct; small teams starting with tech packs look at Techpacker; and brands that want product data, purchase orders, forecasts and sales in one record, in English and Arabic, look at Polluxa PLM.
*Polluxa makes Polluxa PLM. We compared tools using each vendor's public website as of October 2026; check current details with each vendor.*
Centric is a large, broad platform, so the right alternative is the one that matches the size of your team and the work you need covered.
Key takeaways
- Centric Software, a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, says its PLM scales for teams "of 10 or 20,000 users", and for many large groups it remains the right choice.
- For enterprise retail, footwear and apparel, PTC FlexPLM, WFX and Lectra Kubix Link are the closest alternatives.
- For growing fashion brands, Delogue, Onbrand and BeProduct focus on development and supplier work.
- Techpacker and Delogue publish prices; Techpacker is the only one in our research that states a free trial.
- Polluxa PLM fits brands that want one record from tech pack to purchase order, stock forecast and sales, with a trial on their own data.
How we compared
We read each vendor's public website in October 2026 and looked at:
- Who each tool says it is for, by size and industry
- What it covers beyond tech packs: suppliers, costing, orders, planning
- How you buy it: public prices, demo or trial
- Stated setup time
If a site did not state something, we leave it out.
What Centric offers. And when to stay.
Centric describes itself as an "End-to-End Product Platform From Concept to Commercialization". Its product family includes Centric PLM, Planning & Pricing, Market Intelligence, Visual Boards, PXM and AI Studio. It serves fashion and apparel, food and beverage, outdoor and sports, home and furniture, cosmetics and personal care, and consumer electronics.
A June 2026 release cites more than 2,900 customers in more than 65 countries, and Dassault Systèmes named Centric PLM its preferred PLM for consumer packaged goods and retail. Centric says implementation takes "3-4 months on average". Pricing is not public, and it offers a 60-minute demo rather than a free trial.
If you need planning, pricing and market intelligence from one large vendor, across many brands and countries, Centric is hard to replace. Teams look elsewhere when they want public prices, a trial, a narrower tool, or a different scope.
Enterprise alternatives. Big catalogues, global suppliers.
FlexPLM was built with PTC's Windchill technology "specifically to address the needs of the RFA [retail, footwear, and apparel] industry". Its listed features include line planning, multi-level cost sheets, sample management, supplier collaboration and Higg sustainability integration, and PTC announced AI tech pack generation in January 2026. It runs on PTC's managed cloud or self-managed on-premise. A software directory describes it as best suited for large enterprises.
WFX targets "mid-market and enterprise brands managing hundreds of styles and global supplier networks". It lists tech packs with versioning, BOMs, line planning, sample tracking, costing with RFQ comparison, and ERP connectors for NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and AIMS 360. WFX also sells its own apparel ERP and factory software, is "100% cloud-based", and says PLM can be rolled out "within 8–12 weeks".
Kubix Link is Lectra's fashion PLM, "designed specifically for fashion". It covers collection planning, one-click digital tech packs, digital fitting sessions, supplier collaboration, cost monitoring and carbon-footprint assessment for French and EU rules. It is a cloud product with a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, and Lectra is a listed French group.
Alternatives for growing brands. Development first.
Delogue is a product development platform for "300+ fashion and lifestyle brands across 74 countries". It covers samples, specs, BOMs, costing and documentation, with supplier users at no extra cost. It is one of two vendors here that publish prices; see our Polluxa vs Delogue comparison for the full list. Onboarding "typically takes around 3 months".
Onbrand calls itself the "#1 PLM for Growing Brands", for fashion, footwear, outdoor and home. It offers live tech packs, a vendor portal, an Illustrator plug-in and, on its Pro plan, generative AI design. Its home page cites a "10 day" implementation. Prices are by quote. See Polluxa vs Onbrand.
BeProduct serves fashion and lifestyle brands and names customers such as Faherty, Puma and Untuckit. Alongside tech packs, BOMs, costing and sample tracking, it offers 3D design with Browzwear and CLO integrations and a no-code app builder. Pricing is by quote, with personalised demos and proof-of-concept periods.
Alternatives for small teams and ERP-first brands.
Techpacker offers Techpack Builder, "a tech pack editor for organizing specs", and PLMBR, "a PLM solution for scaling fashion brands". As of October 2026, Techpack Builder is listed at $35 per user per month, billed yearly. It offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card.
Uphance is an apparel operations platform where PLM sits inside a wider ERP suite, alongside inventory, order management, B2B and accounting. It says it suits "$5M to $100M apparel brands" running "50+ styles per season". Pricing comes after a demo; data migration takes "2 to 4 weeks depending on source".
A note on Backbone: Bamboo Rose now steers new buyers to Bamboo Rose TotalPLM, while "Backbone PLM remains fully supported for current customers."
Polluxa PLM. One record, through to the shelf.
Polluxa PLM gives designers, merchandisers, suppliers and sales one shared record for each product. It covers product development and tech packs, supplier collaboration on the quote, product or order, purchase orders created from product data, AI demand forecasting and sales on mobile. It serves fashion, outdoor and sports, beauty, consumer goods, retail and manufacturing, works in English and Arabic, and keeps your ERP. Pricing is by scope, with unlimited free demos and a trial on your own data.

How Polluxa helps
Polluxa PLM is product lifecycle management software for fashion, footwear, beauty, consumer goods and manufacturing brands. Think of it as the single source of truth your teams and suppliers check before they do anything.
- Changes no longer need custom code. A leading sports brand replaced a legacy PLM that needed custom code for every change, and moved style entry from two weeks to a day and a half.
- You no longer buy everything at once. Start with one module of Polluxa PLM software for consumer brands and add the rest when you need them.
- POs are no longer retyped. The PO Worksheet builds supplier-ready purchase orders from product data.
- Go-live is no longer a gamble. Polluxa and certified partners configure, migrate and train until you are live, with a 100% go-live rate.
Start this week
- Write down the three reasons you are looking beyond Centric, in your team's own words.
- Pick two or three tools from the situations above, not ten.
- Ask each one to demo the same style of yours, from tech pack to purchase order. Our PLM implementation guide lists what to ask about setup.
